Development and implementation of a social media fundraising strategy to purchase new school uniforms for 156 children at Fizi School in Nairobi, Kenya. The campaign included punchy social media cards and short videos rolled out over the two weeks leading up to Christmas. The campaign reached its fundraising target before 25 December and highlighted the power of school uniforms in promoting discipline, equality, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

In line with UNICEF’s 2025 World Children’s Day campaign, I developed a three-day series of posts highlighting Fizi School’s mission to provide education for children living in social vulnerability in Kaibiria, an informal settlement in Nairobi, Kenya. Celebrating World Environment Day: Post for UNEP social media channels
To mark World Environment Day 2024, I organized a workshop on soil management at the UN Complex in Nairobi under the theme “Causes of Land Degradation and Opportunities for Restoration.” During the event, I filmed, conducted interviews, and produced a compelling video that amplified the voices and visibility of youth participants. The video garnered over 18,700 views on Instagram, 195+ reactions on LinkedIn and 105+ likes on X.
Development of the UN RSCE Instagram account
Set up and managed the Organization’s Instagram and Threads accounts, designed engaging Instagram stories highlighting the organization and its leadership, and oversaw social media content and performance analytics.
Promotion of the UN Field Medical Assistants Course
The course aimed to enhance the emergency medical response skills and capabilities of UN peacekeepers to increase survivability in UN missions.
2023 International Day of UN Peacekeepers campaign
I led a two-week social media campaign for the UN Regional Service Centre Entebbe across Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to commemorate the 75th anniversary of UN Peacekeeping and the 2023 International Day of UN Peacekeepers. Under the theme “Peace Begins With Me,” I produced in-house videos and developed messages celebrating peacekeepers’ vital role in advancing political solutions, preventing conflict, and promoting human rights and the rule of law across Africa.
Promotion of the RSCE mandate for the Portuguese UN News
As part of my monthly contributions to Portuguese UN News, I produced and edited a video for the former Twitter highlighting the mandate of the UN Regional Service Centre Entebbe in supporting UN missions across Africa. The channel targets audiences in Portuguese-speaking countries.
2023 International Women’s Day campaign
The campaign featured videos spotlighting women working in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the UN Regional Service Centre. They shared insights about their roles, the gender-related challenges they have encountered, and their perspectives on advancing opportunities for women and girls in ICT. The campaign aligned with the 2023 UN theme, “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality.”

Campaign to strengthen the RSCE’s mandate
I led a one-week social media campaign to reinforce the Regional Service Centre’s mandate of providing efficient and timely administrative, logistics, and ICT services for UN peacekeeping and political missions in Africa. The campaign gained significant traction, with the initial video reaching 35.7k views on Twitter, along with 247 likes and 82 retweets. This strong response set a new record for RSCE’s social media engagement, underscoring the campaign’s impact and reach.
Marking the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
The videos produced for RSCE’s social media highlighted the United Nations’ commitment to ending violence against women in conflict settings. In this effort, RSCE has played a key role by hosting specialized courses and conferences for UN peacekeepers to address and prevent such violence.
