Social media cards and gift cards for Fizi School
Development of social media cards to mark 2025 World Children’s Day and support a Christmas fundraising campaign to collect contributions for school uniforms for 156 children at Fizi School in Nairobi, Kenya. Below are the Christmas thank-you cards sent to donors, featuring drawings created by the children.
UNEP 2024 Yearbook
I designed the banners for the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP) Yearbook, capturing images that highlight nature, biodiversity, and the impacts of climate change. The yearbook played a key role in showcasing staff contribution to implementing UNEP’s mandate, being promoted by the Executive Director during the Global Town Hall and on the intranet.
*Staff photos were excluded to protect their identities.
Welcome video for the International Day of Zero Waste event
The video welcomed over 650 participants, including Member States, for the 2025 International Day of Zero Waste event in Nairobi, Kenya. I supported the event’s production and coordination, celebrated under the theme ‘Towards Zero Waste in Fashion and Textiles.’ Co-led by UNEP and UN-habitat, the event showcased strategies to reduce the environmental and social impacts of the textile industry that generates millions of tons of waste annually.
Backdrop for UNEP Global Town halls
I created custom backgrounds for the UNEP Global Town Halls to enhance the online event experience - produced monthly under my direction. The designs were tailored to speakers and discussion topics (e.g. transition to renewable energy, UNEP’s digital initiatives, Human Resources and budget issues, the UNEP Medium-Term Strategy, UN anti-racism efforts, and more.)
UNEP Comms Academy sessions
I led the organization and created promotional materials for the Comms Academy, a platform designed to update UNEP communicators on current strategies, tools, and workflows. Launched in 2022, the Academy aims to foster innovation while ensuring consistency in UNEP’s messaging across all communication outputs.
Promotion of UNEP events and staff stories
These designs were created to promote UNEP events, including Global Town halls and International Day observances. They also served as featured visuals for blog posts in the UNEP Intranet, including in the Staff Voice section - space I created and implemented upon joining the Organization as Head of Internal Communication, aimed at boosting staff engagement and morale.
I led and coordinated the 2024 UNEP Staff Awards — the Kipepeo Award (‘butterfly’ in Swahili) — which received a record-breaking 69 nominations across the Organization. I also created custom visuals for the award online ceremony, bringing finalists’ projects and initiatives to life across three categories: Collaborative Teams, Innovation, and Environmental Impact.

Design for the sixth UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-6)
The video was promoted on the screens of the UN Complex in Nairobi (UNON) during the UN Environment Assembly in February 2024. Over 6000 delegates, ministers, heads of state, and other stakeholders attended the one-week event to shape environmental policies for people and planet.
Social media designs for RSCE Instagram
Designed 14 Instagram stories, including icons for ‘About Us’ and ‘RSCE Leadership,’ and created visual assets to announce new job openings and welcome new staff joining the UN Regional Service Center Entebbe (RSCE).
Signpost to mark the 2023 World Environment Day
I designed a custom signpost that was unveiled at the United Nations Entebbe Support Base in Uganda on 5 June, celebrating World Environment Day and drawing attention to the occasion.
Designs to celebrate the 2022 Client Service Week
From the 3rd to the 7th of October 2022, the United Nations Regional Service Centre Entebbe celebrated Client Service Week under the theme “Client at the Centre - At the Heart of What We Do”. The date marked RSCE’s commitment to delivering efficient and timely services to 17 UN political and peacekeeping missions in Africa.
For this one-week event, I designed over 25 designs shared with UN staff in New York and printed across the RSCE. Designs were aligned with the visual identity of the UN Department of Operational Support (DOS).
1. Design created for the RSCE SharePoint page
2. Letter of appreciation created for RSCE managers to share with their supervises and co-workers
3. Designed 23 banners, printed and installed across each Service Line, Unit, and Section of RSCE, highlighting their commitments to supporting RSCE client missions across Africa
UN RSCE & Uganda 2023 Holiday Calendar
The calendar was shared on the RSCE website, featured on iSeek (the UN Secretariat intranet), and broadcast to over 400 UN personnel, providing a practical tool for staff to plan activities and manage schedules throughout the year.
Social Media posts to announce vacancies & staff quotes
The banners were shared on RSCE social media (i.e. X, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).
UN Staff Immersion Programme (SIP)
I designed GIFs with testimonials of attendees and trainers to promote SIP - an initiative that supports career and professional development by building staff skills and connecting them with professionals in other functions and duty stations across the UN Secretariat.
UN Flag Code for high-level events
The document was developed to support the flag positioning of bilateral and multilateral events hosted by the Regional Training & Conference Centre of the Regional Service Center in Entebbe (RSCE), Uganda.
Announcing close of business
The banners were broadcast to Regional Service Center Entebbe (RSCE)’s staff and more than 16,000 UN personnel in UN missions in Africa to announce the close of business during Easter celebrations.
Interactive Kiosk
The Kiosk is an interactive screen designed to help RSCE visitors discover information about the Entebbe Support Base — from facilities to upcoming events. I created the draft interface concept, focusing on an intuitive user experience and engaging visual design.
Vacancy Announcement for social media
One of my first projects at RSCE was designing social media visuals to announce job openings. I later refreshed the design to align with the UN Department of Operational Support’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and a more cohesive brand presence.
Designed a clear and visually engaging organigram showcasing RSCE’s sections, shared across the RSCE public website, on iSeek, and with internal stakeholders to improve visibility and understanding of the Centre’s structure.
